The Chikumbuso Women and Orphans Project (which translates as remembrance" in Lozi) is the marvellous brainchild of Linda Wilkinson. This school and widows project in Ng’ombe Township of Lusaka, began to transform the lives in 2005. Individuals and families left reeling from the AIDS epidemic found hope through free education, skills training and in learning how to make beautiful handbags to sell as a way to earn money.
